ECS are supporting The Curious House of Stories at Church Farm, The Village, Skegness for this fantastic weekend steampunk event. (Not just one day as Facebook insists on saying) Camping is available, please contact Church Farm to book tel 01754 766658 and mention if you need hook-up electricity as those pitches are limited????
This will be a fabulous weekend of family and community fun and frolics, story-telling and entertainment with live music, dancing, the Skegness Ukulele Ensemble, the East Coast Steampunks Strollers, Cogling Fashion Show, an area for quiet photography, tea Duelling, Debbie Dee Designs, exhibitions of teapot racing, gizmos and gadgets and more… including a wonderful STEAMPUNK MARKET. It will be mainly outdoors and in huge marquees????
Church Farm has a cafe, gift shop, picnic grounds, parking, Victorian artefacts on display in room settings in an original Victorian house, and a working steam tractor that will hopefully be “in steam” for our event????
Admission is by donation (£5 per adult, children free is suggested). ECS is committed to helping to keep this lovely old Museum which is run mainly by wonderful volunteers and is a registered charity, open and thriving????
